TORMENTA TROPICAL

Tormenta Tropical brings the heat of Latin club culture to HEIMAT. Headlining the night is Colombian artist Jimena Ángel, a Latin-Grammy-nominated musician whose sound blends electronic music with Afro-Latin rhythms, tropical grooves and contemporary club energy. With more than two decades of musical exploration behind her, she has developed a distinctive style that moves fluidly between electronic production and traditional Latin influences.

Through her solo work and collaborations with international producers such as iZem, Nickodemus, Captain Planet, Poirier, Tigerbalm and Umoja, Jimena Ángel has built a reputation for vibrant, rhythm-driven sets designed for the dancefloor. Her recent releases on the French label Elis Records – including the album Aire and singles like Llámameya, Tengo lo que Tengo, Plátano Maduro and Nadie – highlight her fusion of electronic textures with Afro-Caribbean and Latin rhythms.
